One of the most interesting and weird things I have discovered in my life is that most of the time, the thing that is blocking my progress is actually my own fear of letting go of what I know and master in order to be able to step into the new and unknown.
We all love the idea of progress, but according to the dictionary, progress is movement to an improved or more developed state or a forward position.
That means that progress will come with stepping into the unknown.
Stepping into the unknown is always scary because it requires letting go of the known, familiar, and comfortable.
“Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat” – is an old saying that means
“Fortune Favors the Brave.”
Self evaluate. What is stopping your progress?
Is it a lack of opportunities, or is it just your own mind trying to keep you safe and comfortable in the environment you worked so hard to build while you were going through the greatest storm of your life?
I understand. You worked so hard to find some solid ground underneath your feet when it seemed that everything around you was going straight to hell.
But that time is now over.
No matter how great or violent the storm is, it eventually passes.
Progress.
Let go.
Step into the unknown.
Rebuild.
Better.
Stronger.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
