Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I have no idea where you are on your life journey. I don’t know in what season of life this text finds you. Life is cyclical. There is a season where everything you touch turns to gold. It seems that everything you want just falls into place without too much effort on your part. Everything just works. The other season is when everything you touch turns to ashes. No matter how much effort you put in, you just can’t move. You feel stuck, you feel alone, you feel frustrated, hopeless, depressed, and anxious, and you may experience panic attacks. This season feels like hell on earth, and it may seem that it will never come to an end.
This, too, shall pass – I want you to engrave these four magical words into your brain, soul, heart, and body.
THIS, TOO, SHALL PASS!
These four magical words are crucial in your life journey. They are vital because when you are in the season of winning, they keep you humble. We, as humans, have the tendency to become, for lack of a better word, assholes when we are in the winning season. Becoming an arrogant prick in the winning season is going to ensure your fall. You are going to lose everything, and it is going to happen precisely when you think that nothing and no one can touch you or defeat you.
Do you want to know why? Because if you become an asshole and an arrogant prick, your EGO grows so much that you may think you are God. And when you feel that you are God, guess what? God shows up, pulls the rug from under your feet, and you fall flat on your face. And He does it because He is God, and He can, and He wants you to know exactly who God is.
So, in the winning season, you will need those four magical words to keep you humble. Humility is what you are going to need to keep your winnings and continue to win. When I say you need to be humble, I mean you need to be humble in front of God. Always acknowledge Him and the gifts that He gave you, and know and understand that you are nothing without God. Stay humble and practice active gratitude, and you are going to strive.
In the “walking thru hell” season, you will need those four magical words because they will give you hope. And trust me, without faith and hope, you won’t make it out of there. Don’t be arrogant and stupid, and just trust me. This season is going to require everything you are as a human being, and you will need all the help you can get. Faith and hope. Pray to God. Talk to Him. Get closer to Him and meet Him. He is beautiful. All-knowing, All-seeing, wisdom, and pure love.
This, too, shall pass.
When this hellish season is over, because it will be over, you will experience PTSD. Post-traumatic stress disorder. And you will experience it because you went thru the most challenging period of your life. You were alone, and you were attacked from all sides and on all fronts. You were attacked spiritually, mentally, and emotionally and maybe even your physical health worsened. So PTSD is normal. PTSD is going to manifest in the form of hypersensitivity. All of your senses will work at 110%. You will be hypervigilant and overprotective of yourself and those around you if someone is still around you. This is the period when you will feel the true meaning of the word – alone.
Because of PTSD, you will make mistakes with the first interactions with the new people you will meet. I want you to understand that this period, although challenging, is necessary and beautiful.
This, too, shall pass.
You need to feel PTSD and true loneliness so you will learn to truly value the blessings coming your way. Your finances will start to flourish, and you are going to meet beautiful, strong, and Godly people. The sun is rising on your street, and PTSD will teach you to truly see and cherish it.
This, too, shall pass!
God, my friend. He is the way, the truth, and the light. Go towards Him and meet Him and find out for yourself.
He never passes! He is eternal!
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
