Usain Bold said at one point: “I trained for four years to run nine seconds. And people give up when they don’t see results in two months.”
Do you think that he felt motivated for each second of those four years? I don’t think so.
Four years is a healthy amount of time. Many things can happen in four years.
You have good days, and you have bad days. That is the process and the test, if you will.
If you want something bad enough, you will get it because you will do the necessary work regardless of how you feel.
And no, I don’t have a daily routine to motivate myself. Whenever I don’t want to do what I know I must do to get closer to my dreams, I remind myself that I will not live forever.
I got this day in front of me. Am I going to use it, or just let it pass me by?
What about you? Are you using the day, or is it escaping through your fingers?
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
