As human beings, we have free will. We can choose what we accept, what we do, and how we do it.
Problems start to arise for us when we hit the walls of universal laws. This universe, the world we are living in, has non-negotiable laws.
Like the law of gravity. We can choose to lie to ourselves in the mirror for twenty days that we can fly. And if we do that for a long enough period of time and with enough intensity, we will start to believe it. The problem appears when we go outside and jump from a tall building. You can flap your hands all you want. Gravity. You, my friend, are going down. That is a law. Non-negotiable.
That is the same as with the concept of mind, body, and soul. That is how we are made. Period. Accept it and use it to your advantage or not. Free will.
One thing to note here is that whatever you choose to accept, believe, and practice will give you results. For every action in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction. You reap what you sow. And that is another universal law. Non-negotiable.
To come to a conclusion, we must say that humans don’t have to do anything. And I mean that in the most sincere way. Nobody can force you to become a good parent, a decent friend, or a beautiful, strong, and successful human being. But you can make that choice for yourself.
And if you choose that for yourself, the first thing you must accept is that the world you live in is already created and has solid and firm rules in place. Nobody cares if you like those rules. You don’t get a vote.
But you can learn them and use them to your advantage and find out how far you can take yourself in the window of time you got here.
Because when your time here is up, you will meet another non-negotiable.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
