It is hard being a dreamer.
It is hard because the dreamer is confronted daily with the reality surrounding him, but he is also confronted daily with the reality only he can see.
His dreams.
The most pain, for a dreamer, comes from the discrepancy between the factual reality facing him and the reality he dreams about.
A great deal of discomfort comes from the fact that he feels in his being that his dreams should and will become a reality; he does not know how and when.
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt.
If you dare to dream, to ease the pain, you must dare to stand alone.
If you dare to dream, you must develop the courage to start working on making that dream a reality on your own. Because in the beginning, it will be just you, alone and lonely, like a fool attacking a Dragon, which is your dream, with a small stick, which is your experience and knowledge.
“I know of no better life purpose than to perish in attempting the great and impossible. The fact that something seems impossible shouldn’t be a reason to not pursue it. That’s exactly what makes it worth pursuing; where would the courage and greatness be if success was certain and there was no risk. The only true failure is shrinking away from life’s challenges.”
-Friedrich Nietzsche
Dare to dream!
Dare to start alone and inexperienced.
Dare to continue despite all critique and doubt.
Dare to show the world that you are prepared to die trying to bring something to life out of nothing than be normal and mediocre.
Dare, and you will hold it in your hands.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
