Do you know that big hole in the middle of your chest that you can not fill no matter how many things you buy, how many partners you have, or how successful, powerful, or extraordinary people say you are? That whole that no amount of drugs and alcohol can ever fill? Yeah, me too.
That hole is there for a reason, and, like a puzzle, you can only fill it with one particular puzzle piece.
It is written that King Solomon excelled over all the world’s kings in riches and wisdom. I don’t know about you, but when I hear about someone wealthy and wise, I must check him out.
King Solomon says in the Book of Proverbs 1 verse 7:’The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.’
Fear and suffering come together. You can only have one with the other. So, if fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and brings the feeling of separation, isolation, and suffering, then the antidote can only be love. Love of the Lord must be knowledge itself, inclusion, safety, and the end to all hell.
I have said this before, and I’ll keep saying it. I’m not an expert on the Bible, religion, or even God, for that matter, but I can talk clearly and sincerely from personal experience.
Where and how do I start?
I’m glad you asked. You start exactly where you are and exactly how you are. Play this beautiful song by Lauren Daigle – You Say and start a conversation with the source of love, wisdom, and life in your own words.
Talk to Him like you would talk to a good friend or a loving parent. He can’t wait to hear your voice.
Everything has a purpose; you did not fall on this post by accident. So trust me and start a daily routine of conversations with God and watch how that hole in your chest fills up.
Until next time, beautiful human.
Yours truly, Cristian.
