It is not my fault.
We just met, and you started treating me like the enemy.
We just met, and you want to make me feel responsible for what someone did to you five years ago.
I don’t want to be on the receiving end of everything bad that ever happened to you. Why would I?
I understand you are not where you imagined you would be by now, but being open and honest is the only way to go.
I am not where I hoped to be either, but should I put that on you?
I don’t think so.
My point is that when you start dating after a breakup, please leave your baggage at home because otherwise, everyone will run away from you.
We both had it rough up until this point. Let go of the baggage, and maybe we can build something beautiful together.
Does that make sense?
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
