Everybody wants to be successful, all right?
Let us start there.
There are no people walking around saying to themselves: I don’t like success. I love being mediocre and lazy, and I love the fact that I have to struggle from month to month to pay my bills.
Everybody wants to be successful, and that is perfectly normal and healthy.
I say that it is perfectly healthy and normal to want to be successful because deep inside, we all understand that we get to live only once, and we have a desire, a need if you will, to make our lives count.
We have a deep-rooted need to declare I was here, and this is how I viewed and articulated the world around me in the time that I was here.
My point is this. You may be 40 years old and you put off your dream for too long by lying to yourself that it won’t work, that nobody will appreciate what you want to express, or that you don’t have the time to work on your dream.
I need you to stop that.
Let’s say you are 40, and it is going to take you ten years to achieve your dream and live the life you want to live. Would you rather be successful by 50 or never?
Think about that for a second.
Start working on your dream like a hobby for half an hour every day. Don’t tell anyone what your dream is or where you would like to take your hobby. Just steal half an hour out of your day and have fun working on your dream. You deserve at least that, right?
You’ll get the ball rolling, and sooner than you think your dream will start pulling you forward.
Ten years will pass by, whether you want it or not.
You are now 50. The only difference is that you have been working on your dream for ten years.
It is never too late to start.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
