Nobody can run faster or further than the ones that are in front of the pack.
Let me give you an example.
Imagine you are driving on a curvy and dangerous road. There is no room to overtake. Your speed on that road will be determined by the car driving in front of you. You may feel you could drive faster because you have more experience and courage, but that is irrelevant because there is no room to overtake.
It is the same thing in life or business.
If you have a mediocre leader, the rhythm of your life or evolution in business will be determined by that leader.
Honking your horn won’t help. It will make things worse.
Gossiping and badmouthing won’t help.
A mediocre or weak leader usually has a huge and fragile ego. It is never a good idea to get in conflict with them because those kinds of people don’t mind getting you off the road.
What should you do?
You should plan and execute your exit strategy patiently. No matter your situation, patience and persistence are always vital.
Work on yourself, remain calm, and be vigilant. When the opportunity arises, as it always does, to overtake the leader or take a detour on a different road, you are ready to do it.
The answer was and always will be YOU.
I hope this helps.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
