Them: Are you still working on that small project of yours?
Me: Yup.
Them: Have you made any money yet?
Me: Nope.
Them: Are you having fun?
Me: Ehh, it depends. Good days, bad days.
Them: Don’t you want to quit?
Me: Fluff, no!
Them: Why not?
Me: Yes!
I mean … how, the fluff, do you explain it to people?
How do you explain the dreams God put into your heart to someone else?
How do you explain to them that you understand that maybe you won’t see any results ever, but you still do what you feel and know you need to do?
How do you explain your vision to someone who has none?
And the only plausible and healthy way I found is that you don’t.
You stop explaining yourself because you stop oversharing.
And you stop oversharing because you don’t need external validation anymore.
And you don’t need external validation for your dreams and goals anymore because you and God validated them already.
I am good to go!
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
