Most of us ask for freedom because we don’t know what being free means.
Freedom means discipline.
Spiritual discipline.
Intelectual discipline.
Physical discipline.
Financial discipline.
Nobody achieves freedom if they don’t master the art of being an excellent parent to themselves.
Being a good parent to yourself means choosing to do every day what needs to get done and not what can get done.
Doing something just because you can is childish.
Doing something because you planned to or chose to is mature.
1 Corinthians 13:11: “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
Freedom.
Be careful what you ask for because you might get it, and if you are not awake and prepared for it, it might crush you.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
