Forming a new habit takes time. Be patient with yourself.
When you start the habit of having a daily to-do list, you will tend to put too many things on that list, and it will sometimes feel like a burden.
Keep going and keep tailoring the list until it fits you.
The primary role of a daily to-do list, beyond the fact that it will make you more disciplined and productive, is to allow you to have the days you want to have.
With that in mind, you should taylor your to-do list to make you feel joyful and peaceful.
The goal is not to be someone else. The goal is not to live someone else’s life. The goal is to find yourself, better yourself, and express yourself.
You are yourself when you feel joy and peace.
The aim in life is not happiness. The actual sustainable target to hit in life is joy and peace.
Remember that.
