“I think we risk becoming the best-informed society that has ever died of ignorance.” – Ruben Blades.
We have everything.
There was never a better time in the history of humankind to be alive, and we take it all for granted. We look around us, and all we see are unhappy, depressed, and anxious people.
Why?
How is that even possible?
Well, the answer is pretty simple. Without gratitude, nothing has meaning.
We have everything, but we are not grateful because we are disconnected from God.
To whom should we be grateful if we don’t know God? How could we thank someone we don’t know?
The problem is that nothing seems to have meaning, color, or taste without gratitude.
Which implies that without God, everything is meaningless.
Matthew 6:33 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
It’s right there. How can we miss it? Why do we tend to overcomplicate ourselves, our lives, and even our existence?
If you are tired, as I was, from running like a heartless monkey from branch to branch to find the key to existence and everything you found, as I did, is disappointment, frustration, and boredom, it is time, my friend, to come back to basics.
Prayer and daily communication with the Force that created the Universe out of Himself is the way to go. The only way.
Here it is if you need a sign to push you in the right direction.
You are not reading this by accident.
You know what you have to do. Silence everything around you and pray!
“Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And leave us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever.”
Amen.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
