I really don’t like the term “overthinking” or “overthinkers.”
Let me explain why.
Well, first of all, what is the right amount of thinking on a problem or a situation? How do you even measure the amount of thinking? What is the metric on that? Is it like seven thoughts on a crisis, an idea, or a person?
We are taught that life is just these two lines, and now that we are born, and here, we need to confound in those two lines and try our best not to hit the edges. The world is just how it is, and you should do your best to adapt to it and not mess with it.
No!
That is not true at all. The world is how it is because the people who lived before us made it the way it is. But it was not always the same. The world we live in and life as a whole is evolving and are being created by people who think about new things, new concepts, and new ways of doing old things.
Creativity is born in overthinkers. If you think long enough about any subject, you will open it up like an onion, and new concepts will emerge from that experience.
The goal in life is not to always keep active so that your problems don’t keep up with you. That is so shallow and small-minded.
Sometimes you must have the courage to stop and ponder on a subject for a while. Bash into the walls of life and see what happens. You might be the next Tesla or Einstein. Some situations need more thinking, and some don’t need that much. And every individual has his or her own way of making a decision. But there is no underthinking, overthinking, or the right amount of thinking.
Develop yourself and have the courage to think as long as you want about whatever you want. And you tell the world the right amount of thinking for you.
Don’t let these so-called “gurus” or influencers dictate the right amount of thinking, praying, sleeping, playing, talking, or whatever. You find the right amount that fits you and then tell and show us by developing healthy boundaries.
Find yourself. Develop yourself. Think for yourself. Express yourself.
God is the first rock of the foundation of the person you need to be. Find Him and talk to Him, and He will show you what the right amount of everything is for you.
Trust me, and trust yourself.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
