Proverbs 3: 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
In other words, learn to trust the process.
I don’t know your goals and what you are trying to accomplish, but if you strive to succeed at this game called life, you must learn to trust the process.
Failure is a big part of that process; if you ever want to be successful, you have to learn how to lose.
Losing is part of life. That is just how it is. There is no way around it.
Failure is not here to stop you. Failure and pain are here to teach you. They are here to watch you dead in your eyes and ask you: DO YOU REALLY WANT IT?
The art of accepting losing a battle just so I could later win the war was one of the hardest for me to master. Learn how to lose. Lose fast. Accept it and move on. Learn the lessons, apologize but don’t feel guilty. Humans make mistakes. Accept it. You made a mistake and lost this battle.
When you lose, learn to accept and feel the pain so you may learn the lesson. Understand the mistakes you made and why you lost. Cry, scream, accept the loss, accept the responsibility, and learn from your mistakes. And then, get back up and move!
Chin up! Tomorrow is another day.
I’m going to win or die trying. If I have to be the one that has to die trying, then so be it, but I am not stopping.
Trust the process.
Get up. From the top!
One more day. One more book. One more rep on that chest bench. Yes. One more!
Who are you? Am I ever going to know your name, or will you just quit? You know you have all the reasons to just stop. Everybody around you is just waiting to hear your excuses. They are all just waiting to tell you that they understand that you quit.
Who are you?
What is your name?
Who are you representing?
May God bless you and give you what you need, not what you want but what you need, wherever you are on this beautiful planet, and in that process, you call life.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
