Life becomes much lighter when you stop placing all your hope and trust in people. Not because people are bad, but because people are human. They get tired, they misunderstand, they make mistakes, and sometimes—even with the best of intentions—they will disappoint you.
But when you learn to put your trust in God and in yourself, everything changes.
Trusting in God means you recognize there’s a bigger picture at play. It means you stop viewing your life as a series of random events and start seeing it as a carefully woven tapestry where every thread—joyful or painful—has purpose. Suddenly, nothing happens to you, everything happens for you. Every trial, every delay, every “no” becomes a stepping stone to wisdom, strength, and growth.
Trusting in yourself means you finally believe that God has already placed inside you everything you need to face what life throws at you. It means knowing that you can get back up after setbacks, learn from your mistakes, and walk with courage even when the path is unclear.
When you live this way, you begin to notice something powerful:
Disappointments turn into lessons.
Failures turn into fuel.
Conflicts turn into opportunities for forgiveness and deeper connection.
And even when things don’t go the way you hoped, you remain richer—richer in wisdom, richer in character, richer in love.
So practice this every day. Remind yourself to place your trust in God and in the abilities He has given you. You’ll start to see life differently, not as something happening against you, but as something unfolding for your highest good.
And that shift will change everything.
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
