In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. First, He spoke light into existence, separated the waters from the land, and filled the skies with birds and the seas with creatures of every kind. And then, He created us.
We were made in His image, given the breath of life, and entrusted with the stewardship of His creation. From the dust of the earth, He formed us and breathed His spirit into our souls. And with this divine spark, we were endowed with a purpose and a destiny.
As we journey through life, it is easy to forget our origins and lose sight of our purpose. We become consumed with our desires and forget that we were made for something greater than ourselves. But if we take the time to reflect on our beginnings, we can rediscover the wonder and majesty of our creation.
Deep within our souls is a longing, an ache for something more. We try to fill this emptiness with the fleeting pleasures of this world, but they are like sand slipping through our fingers. We search for meaning in our careers, relationships, and accomplishments, but they never truly satisfy us.
This longing within us is the God-shaped hole that only our Creator can fill. It reminds us of our purpose and destiny, a calling to return to the embrace of the One who made us.
Sometimes we try to ignore this ache, to push it down and distract ourselves with the busyness of life. But the more we ignore it, the more it grows until it becomes a gnawing hunger that cannot be ignored.
In those moments, we must turn our hearts back to God, to the source of our being. We must open ourselves to His love and guidance and allow Him to fill our emptiness.
Only when we are in communion with our Creator can we find the peace and contentment our souls crave. Only then can we live the life we were meant to live, fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.
As we continue this journey, let us remember the God-shaped hole within us and how our search for meaning can lead us back to our Creator’s embrace.
God created us for Himself. Start a relationship with Him by talking to Him daily. You will experience the joy of filling that big hole in your chest, and you will find your true meaning in life—the purpose you were created for.
A life full of joy and peace is just one step away. What are you so afraid of, and what are you waiting for?
With love, yours truly, Cristian.
